Through the birth of Jesus, His crucifixion and resurrection, and ascension to heaven, it was the start of the new covenant, whereby everybody alive, may regain the spiritual life that was lost through the disobedience of Adam and Eve.

Jesus was born without sin, and He lived without sin, and at the time of His crucifixion, he was the final sinless sacrifice that was made for humanity. By dying on the cross, Jesus became the entire sacrifice for all sins ever committed, and that will still be committed by humanity. After Jesus died on the cross, He was buried, and on the third day He was resurrected by God, after which Jesus went to hell to finally conquer the devil and death. After this Jesus has ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God, from where He reigns.
